Our Mission and Values
The founding trustees are passionate about raising up indigenous missionaries who serve within their own communities and cultures. We believe that those who know their people best are uniquely equipped to share the Gospel in a way that truly resonates.
To support this vision, we provide practical resources—especially reliable transportation. Our focus is on supplying bicycles, scooters, and motorcycles, along with the necessary training for their effective use. This ensures that local missionaries have the tools they need to make a real impact in spreading the Good News.

The Trustees...
The Trustees are all passionate followers of Jesus. As a group of men involved in international mission we have met to pray and grow together every week for several years. Bikes4Mission is one of the outcomes of those precious times we have spent seeking God together... We are all grandparents living in Carmartheshire, Wales.
Ian Read - Founder
Ian, a life long entrepreneur, served with his wife Irene as missionaries in Spain. Ian also served on the management team of the Institute of Training Association, teaching leadership and management skills across south East Asia.
Ian is a passionate motorcyclist and lover of creation!
Phil Aston
With his wife Elspeth, Phil is a missionary and Christian leader, teacher and pioneer with extensive experience of working across Africa. Training leaders with a focus on raising missionaries from Africa to Africa.
Phil has a passion for fishing, boats and driving over sand dunes!
Ian Jeal
Ian, with his wife Jill, have spent many years leading prayer here in Europe at govermental level. They are pioneers that spent many years on field in Strasbourg working with the European governments.
Ian has a passion for all things electric! Sound, video and cars!
Ivan Stewart
Ivan and his wife Hazel have been long term missionaries and prayer leaders. Ivan is well travelled having ministered in South America and Greece. As a couple they have also had a long relationship with Ffald-y-Brenin where they have served faithfully.
Ivan is a farmer and story teller. He loves to expand our knowledge and understanding on all things farming, particularly when it relates to scripture!
Malcolm Williams
Malcolm and Joyce have actively supported international mission for many decades, They have been involved with many Christian organisations including UCB and World Horizons. All the trustees are grateful for Malcolm's practical support and unwavering intercession.
Malcolm has a passion for Rolls Royce, Wankel Engines and Stoke-on-Trent!
